Role Title: Quality Assurance Technician

Location: Northamptonshire

Work Schedule: Full-time, 45 hours per week (Tuesday to Saturday).

Tuesday through Friday (5:00 AM to 3:00 PM) and Saturday (7:00 AM to 5:00 PM).

Salary: 31,005 to 32,175 per annum

Position Overview:

The Quality Assurance Technician ensures that production meets legal, safety, and quality standards. Responsibilities include process auditing, documentation management, staff training, and continuous improvement. The role supports compliance and the proactive resolution of non-conformances.

Key Responsibilities:

* Food Safety & GMP:

o Conduct audits and spot checks to maintain safety, legal, and quality standards.

o Ensure adherence to HACCP guidelines and GMP requirements.

* Sampling & Monitoring:

o Manage and document swab and product sampling schedules.

o Conduct cleaning audits and collect microbiological samples for evaluation.

* Training & Certification:

o Deliver induction training and maintain staff certifications.

o Address ongoing training needs in collaboration with management.

* Calibration & Records:

o Oversee calibration schedules and maintain accurate corrective action logs.

o Conduct traceability audits and ensure documentation aligns with policies.

* Continuous Improvement:

o Analyse quality data to identify trends and support improvement initiatives.

o Inspect raw materials and ensure documentation compliance.
