A booming multi-disciplinary contractor based in Northampton are looking for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to manage a Highways Framework.

Company wide they excel in the delivery of construction projects on a national scale but you will be covering the East Midlands area

They have just had a record year, making this an exciting time to join them as they continue expanding

Our client is a leading main contractor specialising in turnkey solutions for industrial, build-to-rent, student accommodation and civil engineering and infrastructure projects.

THE ROLE: - Managing Quantity Surveyor

As Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will take full ownership of the commercial management of projects up to £25m within the Highways Framework agreement.

You will be a visiting Managing Quantity Surveyor (with a Senior Quantity Surveyor based on site).
You'll manage cost control, and work closely with the senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the commercial management of projects, ensuring cost efficiency and profitability

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders

Identify and mitigate commercial risks, ensuring robust cost control

Work closely with directors on forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting

Ensure contracts and framework agreements are managed effectively

The right person - Managing Quantity Surveyor

You will be an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor or a skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor who is ready to step up to a Managing Quantity Surveyor role

You will be ambitious, driven and keen to help move the business forward.

You will have highways main contracting experience.
