Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Commercial Manager at Limited in our Northampton office with regular site visits required. The Commercial Manager will be responsible for tasks such as managing commercial aspects of projects, developing business plans, overseeing contract management, and leading commercial aspect of the business.
Qualifications
- You will be responsible for, but not limited to, producing and providing accurate forecasts of project costs to completion/final value, monitoring cash flow and valuation plans, managing subcontract tender processes, managing subcontractor accounts as well as providing accurate reports of costs and values on the projects.
- Analytical Skills, Commercial Management, and Business Planning skills
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of commercial management and contract administration.
- Strong knowledge of civil and groundwork
- Experience with earthworks, highways, sewage and roads
- Team Management and Contract Management experience
- Have a good understanding of NEC3 or NEC4 or JCT forms of contracts
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Be able to deal with clients and local authorities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in the construction industry is a must
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
