Position: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Northampton
Salary: 60,000 - 70,000 (depending on experience)
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading property services company. This role will be focused on planned maintenance works for residential social housing, ensuring high-quality service delivery in line with project specifications and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the quantity surveying function for planned maintenance projects in residential social housing.
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts for projects.
- Oversee the procurement process, including managing contracts and negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Ensure the projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Work closely with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and project success.
Key Requirements:
- Extensive experience in quantity surveying within the construction/property services sector, specifically in residential social housing or similar projects.
- Strong understanding of cost management, budgeting, and financial control.
- Proven track record in managing planned maintenance works.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
- Relevant qualifications in quantity surveying or a related field.
