We are looking for experienced Engine Build Technicians to be responsible for the build and rebuild of engines assemblies to include assembling dismantling, measuring and rebuilding all components.

Our Engine Build Technicians are responsible for the build and rebuild of engines assemblies to include assembling dismantling, measuring and rebuilding all components in accordance to standards and practices.

Role Responsibilities – Engine Build Technician

  • Build engine assemblies - inspection and measurement of critical components
  • Strip engine assemblies - inspection and measurement of critical components
  • Strip subcomponents of engine assemblies.
  • Pre and post dyno inspection prior to engine test/shipment.
  • Record and maintain all build data and keep records up to date.
  • Report faults and record information in the main engine database.
  • Track support may be required to support the customer requirements.
  • Training of other employees/team members as required.
  • Consider the health and safety, environmental and energy impact of all activities.

The Successful Engine Build Technician will possess the following:

  • Previous engine build experience is essential.
  • Good at working in a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Highly motivated team player.
  • Manual dexterity.
  • Flexible approach and prepared to work to tight deadlines.
  • Unsocial working hours may be required at short notice to achieve tight deadlines.
  • During busy periods overtime may be required to complete workload on schedule.
  • NVQ L2-L3 Mechanical Engineering, BTEC, ONC or higher qualification in a relevant engineering discipline is preferred.
