Purpose Of The Role:

Collaboration and coordination of warehouse production within a team

Key Responsibilities:

Task coordination according to the manager's instructions
Responsible for the proper execution of the defined processes in the warehouse
Daily briefing with the Warehouse Shift Manager
Team meetings as required
Enforcing order and cleanliness within a warehouse area
Identifying potential for optimization and improvement and implementing the same
Monitoring the proper handling of the technical resources used by the employees (e.g. forklifts, high-speed trucks)
Technical management of employees
Scheduling of the team

Skills & Experience:

Knowledge of working in a logistics warehouse
Strong communication skills must have the ability communicate to all levels and all mediums
Ability to lead by example
Proven and effective leader of people Ability to work under pressure
Efficient management of staff
Strong team leadership and teambuilding abilities
Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to solve problems and resolve issues
Working knowledge of KPI management
Ability to work on own initiative
Innovative approach
Conflict resolution knowledge and experience
Persuasive ,motivational and persistent
IT literate with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
