This successful family owned Global Company within the Food industry is looking for a Product Development Assistant to join their NPD Team

The Benefits :

Permanent Role

Hybrid working offered from their Northampton based offices

A basic salary of up to 32,000 per annum offered

25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays

The Product Development Assistant will support the NPD team in delivering new products and for UK and EU Customers.

The Product Development Assistant role will include

  • Managing the UK market review schedule to keep the company informed of the Prepared Fruit Markets on a quarterly basis.
  • To keep up to date with competitor developments and share with the team as required.
  • Support with checking quality and assembling product samples for new product launches whilst working to specific dates for each product launch.
  • Leading and managing customer artwork development for all customer accounts whilst keeping the Product Development Manager up to date with progress.
  • Liaising with relevant departments and production sites throughout the artwork process prior to launch.

Key skills, knowledge and experience required for this role are

  • Food manufacturing and product development experience
  • Ability to work across multiple cultures and work with many who have English as a second language.
  • Additional languages would be of an advantage but is not essential.
