About the RoleWe’re recruiting for a Service Manager on behalf of a successful, family-run business providing specialist food equipment services to the Hospitality and Catering (HoReCa) sectors. Known for their excellent customer service and strong client relationships, this company offers equipment servicing, asset management, and kitchen consultancy.

This role is a key position within the business, where you’ll oversee service operations, support the team, and work closely with clients to maintain high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyse service performance, ensuring targets are met.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, resolving any issues on-site when required.
  • Manage spare parts sourcing and ordering processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Lead a small team of technicians, assigning workloads and supporting their development.
  • Ensure preventative maintenance visits are completed on time and to the required standard.
  • Handle escalated issues from the service team and assist with customer inquiries.

What We’re Looking For

  • A strong field service background, ideally as a qualified commercial refrigeration engineer.
  • Knowledge of commercial catering equipment and the industry.
  • Experience managing small teams and providing technical support.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to travel nationally with occasional overnight stays.
