Customer Account Manager, Northampton

Salary circa 27,000 per annum, depending on experience

Talent84 are delighted to be supporting a thriving electrical distributor with their search for a Customer Account Manager. Reporting to the Branch Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for handling customer accounts, cultivating strong relationships with clients and providing excellent support to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Taking calls from customers and assisting with enquiry in timely manner
  • Assist customers with order placement, tracking, cancellations, and modifications to ensure seamless buying journey for the customer
  • Build and maintain robust relationships with clients, promoting customer loyalty and satisfaction
  • Develop excellent understanding of product portfolio to ensure best solution is offered to clients
  • Proactively drive sales growth by identifying new business, maximising revenue from existing accounts and consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Act as a clear communication channel between clients and internal teams, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely delivery of efficient solutions
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market developments, and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge

  • Proven experience in a sales or service position in a B2B environment
  • Confident and able to negotiate
