Due to increased business, our client based in Northampton is looking for a full-time experienced Accounts Assistant to join our expanding office team to assist the accounts department of 2 automotive sites in Northampton.
The role
Your duties and responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the following:
Timely and accurate processing of purchase invoices matching to goods receipts
Dealing with colleague and supplier queries
Liaising with other departments
Statement checking/ reconciliations
Payroll duties
Making supplier payments
Petty Cash
Bank Reconciliations
Answering phones and other office admin
The ideal candidate will:
Have previous administration and accounts experience; sales and purchase ledger. Good all round experience.
Have good attention to detail
Be logical, methodical, and proactive
Possess a good level of computer literacy
Be positive and enthusiastic
Familiarity with SAGE /Zero advantageous
AAT qualification or pending
Salary will be dependent on experience and further training opportunities available. Full time Monday to Friday (office based).
