Sales Ledger Clerk
Our client is an award-winning business on the outskirts of Northampton who urgently require a Sales Ledger Clerk to join them for a 12 month maternity contract. There is potential for this role to become permanent due to growth of the business.
Hybrid working, annual bonus and 26 days’ holidays are offered together with full training.
You will be working within the Customer Accounts team and responsibilities will include:
- Posting remittances for the UK and Ireland onto the system.
- Dealing with debit notes relating to shortages, damages and price queries.
- Monitoring credit limits and aged debts.
- Approving sales orders.
- Reconciling and allocating accounts daily.
- Running EDI programme daily to transmit invoices to customers.
- Dealing with discrepancies between customers’ EDI and in-house system.
- Preparing monthly collection target and target graph.
You should have previous experience working in a finance team, have excellent communication, attention to detail and IT skills and be a strong team player.
