Our client based in Northants are seeking a dedicated Lab Assistant/Compounder to join their production team. This role is crucial in ensuring the preparation of raw materials for manufacturing operations.

As Lab Assistant Compounder, you will be responsible for preparing, weighing, and mixing raw materials according to specific formulas and production schedules.

PM Shift: 2pm to 10pm

Responsibilities include:

  • To mix compounds in accordance with production formulations and quality procedures and following FIFO.
  • To clearly and concisely record compound details.
  • To change stock locations on the computer when moving materials
  • To generally assist in the day to day running of the department
  • To work within accepted Company Health & Safety guidelines
  • Ensure that work areas, equipment, and tools are kept clean and in good working condition.

Skills and experience:

  • FLT License (counterbalance)
  • Good level of literacy, numeracy and accuracy and PC skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow strict safety and quality protocols.
  • To be able to work in a precise, thorough and methodical manner.
  • To have the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Common sense is essential.
  • To be able to work in a clean and tidy manner.
  • To be physically fit as the post will involve some heavy lifting.
  • Ability to manage one's own workload.
  • Good communicator.
