The school is seeking a passionate and dedicated Art Teacher to join their Art department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong enthusiasm for teaching art, a deep understanding of various artistic disciplines, and the ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality art lessons that encourage creative expression, critical thinking, and cultural understanding.
Create an inclusive and inspiring classroom environment that fosters a love for art and self-expression.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic and personal development.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall improvement of the Art department.
Actively participate in art-related extracurricular activities and contribute to the wider school community.
Qualifications:
A relevant degree in Art, Fine Arts, or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
Demonstrated experience in teaching art at the secondary school level.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to inspire and motivate students.
A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with educational best practices.
