Your new companyHays Education are currently recruiting for a confident and passionate Maths Teacher on behalf of one of our fantastic schools based in Kettering.Here at Hays, we work with a number of schools across Northamptonshire, covering the areas of Northampton, Corby, Kettering, Wellingborough, Rushden, Daventry, Towcester, Brackley and all the in between!This means as a Maths Teacher working at a Secondary School through Hays you will have local work in your local area covering schools that only you want to work in.Our dedicated team of consultants are happy to talk with you about any concerns you may have, the current market and how Hays have dealt with the effects of the pandemic.The school is passionate about creating and promoting a stimulating environment where everyone aspires to achieve their potential. You would be working on an ongoing long term supply basis.Your new roleYou will be expected to:* Support students with their learning* Monitor student behaviour in the classroom* Be familiar with the schools polices and procedures to deal with any immediate problems* Be confident in delivering lessons in line with the National Curriculum* Be capable of adapting to varying student needs* Plan and mark lessons in line with the National CurriculumWhat you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you will be a confident Maths Teacher with QTS. You must have good knowledge of the current curriculum and recent experience teaching pupils aged 11-18.
