Are you a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher ready to step into an exciting opportunity? Dunbar Education is pleased to present a maternity cover placement at a secondary school in Northampton. This role offers the chance to inspire students and contribute to a dynamic and supportive science department.

• Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to contribute to Key Stage 5.
• Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that spark curiosity and develop a strong understanding of scientific concepts.
• Assess and monitor student progress, ensuring every learner achieves their full potential.
• Fulfil all standard teaching responsibilities, including marking, lesson planning, and communication with parents.
• Work collaboratively with the Science department to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.

• Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school is desirable.
• Passionate about Science and committed to inspiring students to explore the subject.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
