The role:

Vision for Education is recruiting on behalf of a secondary school in Northampton for a Teacher of Maths. Your role but be to plan and deliver engaging lessons to a class of around 30 students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons up to GCSE Maths, inspiring students to develop confidence and competence in Maths.
  • Plan, assess, and deliver the curriculum with a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning.
  • Utilize creative and varied teaching approaches to support a range of learning styles, ensuring lessons are inclusive and challenging for all.
  • Collaborate with the Maths department and broader school community to contribute to a positive, cohesive learning environment.
  • Uphold school policies, ensuring a safe and supportive space for all students.

Person Specification

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Maths teacher who:

  • Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Has recent experience teaching Maths, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality lessons.
  • Is committed to inspiring and engaging students, helping them achieve their full potential.
  • Thrives in a collaborative environment and can build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Is adaptable, resilient, and ready to engage with the dynamic demands of a vibrant school setting.
