About Students: Children with Learning Dissability, Autism, and Challenging Behaviour. Our provision offers an education to children from reception through to Year 13.

Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and passionate TA or HLTA to support our teaching staff and contribute to the learning and development of our students. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of special educational needs (SEN) and a commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of our pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

Classroom Support: Assist teachers in planning and delivering tailored lessons that meet the individual needs of students.

Individual and Group Interventions: Lead small group sessions and one-on-one interventions to support students' academic and social development.

Resource Development: Develop and adapt learning materials to ensure they are accessible and engaging for students with SEN.

Behavior Management:Implement positive behavior strategies to support students in managing their behavior and emotions.

Assessment: Assist in monitoring and recording students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications and Experience: To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A genuine passion for working with students with special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to varying student needs.
  • Minimum 1 Yr of experience working as a Teaching Assistant/HLTA in a UK School
  • Proficieny in English Language (Mandatory)
  • Right to Work in the UK (NO Sponsorship Provided. Candidates on Skilled Worker Visa are not eligible for this position)
