Sewing / Industrial Sewing Machinist / Upholsterer / Overlocker Operator / Machinist / Sail Maker
Fixed Hours: 06.30 15.00, (one hour unpaid break) 40 hour working week
Salary:£13.00 - £13.50 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Permanent appointment.
Location: NN4
Hours of work: Core hours Monday Friday 06.30 15.00, 40 hour working week
Our client:Our well-established family run company needs some help with the production and stitching of cushions and soft furnishings
Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Sewing and using an industrial sewing machine to recover cushions in a variety of fabrics
Assembling a wide variety of products, mostly by sewing, by working to drawings and following set processes
. Happy to use hand tools
Matching pattern instructions with finished work
Keeping area and workstation tidy
Goods out, ensuring orders are ready for despatch
Ideally you will have the following skills:
Competent and experienced at machine sewing and hand sewing, with the ability to complete items by following careful instructions and patterns.
