They are currently seeking an organised, detail-oriented, and professional Transport Planner to manage weighbridge operations, support logistical functions, and contribute to the seamless running of their depot. What you'll do:

As a Transport Planner at our client's company, you will play a crucial role in managing daily weighbridge operations. Your responsibilities will include maintaining records, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, supporting logistical functions, managing third-party sales and contributing to the seamless running of the depot. You will serve as the primary point of contact for vehicles entering and exiting the depot. Your excellent organisational skills will be put to good use as you monitor the weighing process and manage administrative tasks.

  • Efficiently plan and coordinate transport routes for effective resource management.
  • Manage all vehicles entering and exiting the depot, accurately weighing loads and recording data.
  • Ensure precise recording of inputs and outputs, produce weighbridge tickets, and monitor compliance with waste handling regulations.
  • Collect, document, and report cash payments.
  • Prepare and process daily, weekly, and monthly reports for the MRF Manager.
  • Lead on managing third-party sales, maintain client relationships, verify waste carrier licenses, and handle customer complaints professionally.
  • Track fuel levels (red/white diesel) and report to operations.
  • Operate hands-free radio and CCTV systems, collaborate closely with MRF team members.
  • Adhere to HSE procedures, contribute to audits, take corrective action, and maintain a safe, clean workspace.
  • Support other team members with administrative tasks.

What you bring:

You will have strong administrative skills including proficiency in Weighsoft or similar software. Your knowledge of health, safety and environmental standards will be essential in this role.
