Position: Store Manager Reports to: Area Manager
Job Purpose: The Store Manager is responsible for driving sales growth by effectively leading, developing, and motivating the team, implementing sales strategies, fostering strong customer and colleague relationships, and maintaining high standards in store presentation, health & safety, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:

Set clear objectives and lead by example with high standards of behavior and presentation.

Recruit, coach, develop, and evaluate the team in collaboration with the Area Manager, managing sales, compliance, and HR tasks efficiently.

Build strong internal and external business relationships, contributing positively to the team environment.

Communicate professionally and effectively at all levels, using appropriate methods and language.

Drive commercial activity within the store with guidance from the Area Manager, ensuring the team uses the sales process effectively.

Manage customer data proactively, leveraging market insights and competitive awareness.

Monitor and manage KPI performance, taking appropriate actions to address gaps.

Ensure transactional compliance and fraud prevention through regular reviews and robust procedures.

Oversee discount levels and team transactions, ensuring objectives are met.

Conduct self-assessments, maintaining compliance with operational processes via weekly store audits.

Take accountability for health & safety in the store, completing monthly H&S checklists and maintaining a safe environment.

Deliver exemplary customer service and ensure complaints are resolved promptly and satisfactorily.

Perform any other duties as required.

Strict adherence to health & safety regulations in coordination with the Health & Safety Manager.
