Workshop Manager Wanted!

Site Based

Full-time Permanent, Monday to Friday, 40-Hours Per Week

£40,000 to £60,000

Overview:

We are seeking a Workshop Manager to oversee our workshop operations and ensure the smooth running of day-to-day activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and excellent customer service skills.

You must be able to draw on your extensive experience in automotive management, and main working partnerships with main dealerships, and premium car manufacturers.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage workshop staff and delegate tasks effectively
  • Maintain workshop equipment and perform repairs when necessary
  • Assemble and weld components as needed
  • Provide guidance on technical issues and read schematics
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional service
  • Oversee inventory management and order supplies when required

Requirements:

  • Proficient in mechanical knowledge with the ability to repair equipment
  • Skilled in using hand tools and power tools
  • Capable of heavy lifting as needed
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Eligable to work full-time permanent in the UK, no sponsorship visas available.
