About the Housing Support Officer Role
You'll be part of a supportive team working within a 52-bed service supporting individuals with complex needs, such as:
- Mental health conditions
- Substance misuse
- Ex-offending histories
Rota Details
- 3 days on / 3 days off (shifts up to 12 hours)
- Average 39 hours per week over a 6-week cycle
- 3 weeks at 33 hours, 3 weeks at 45 hours
Key Responsibilities of a Housing Support Officer
- Develop and update support plans
- Promote independence and life skills
- Provide practical and emotional support
- Escort residents to medical and essential appointments
Ideal Candidate
We're looking for Housing Support Workers who:
- Have experience supporting adults with complex needs
- Are confident managing challenging behaviours
- Have worked in supported housing or homelessness services
- Are compassionate, reliable, and resilient
