- Timing: 8:45 AM - 4:45 PM (Monday to Friday)
Role Overview: As a Children Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with a diverse range of special educational needs. Your responsibilities will include:
- To provide professional 1:1 support and supervision for pupils aged between 7-16, encouraging their engagement in the learning process and working towards agreed aims and objectives.
- To plan, deliver and evidence sections of individual learning programmes to pupils
- To support vulnerable young people helping to improve their emotional wellbeing raise their aspirations to learn and support them in achieving their potential
About School: Special school in Stevenage for pupils aged 2 to 19 years who have severe or profound learning difficulties
Qualifications and Experience: To excel in this role, you should have:
- A genuine passion for working with students with special educational needs.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to varying student needs.
- Minimum 6 months of experience working in a school or care setting in the UK (Mandatory)
- Proficieny in English Language (Mandatory)
- Right to Work in the UK (NO Sponsorship Provided. Candidates on Skilled Worker Visa are not eligible for this position)
- Drive! Not approachable by Public Trasnport
