Our Client, North Northants Council, is seeking an Adult’s Social Worker to be the Principal Social Worker/Duty Manager.

Responsibilities of this role:

  • Hybrid working – 3 days a week office-based minimum.  

  • Principal Social Worker acting as Duty Manager, attending MAPPA meetings/Channel Meetings - Audits 

  • To manage complex cases within statutory and legal frameworks.

  • To demonstrate active leadership skills, including the ability to make informed and balanced decisions in complex situations, and to be a positive role model to other Social Workers and staff.

Requirements of this role:

  • Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
  • Must have minimum of 2 years’ post qualified experience.
