Opus people solutions on behalf of Northampton Childrens Trust have an exciting opportunity for a Advanced Practitioner to join their Safeguarding Team

Job Title: Advanced Practitioner - SafeguardingLength of assignment: 3-6 MonthsHours per week: 37Hourly rate:£40 per hourLocation: GRCC, School place Corby, NN18 0QPRemote/Office based: 2/3 days in the office 2/3 days at home per week.

The safeguarding teams are working to focus on creative problem solving and keeping children and families together. There are 14 safeguarding teams, across Northamptonshire, each team consists of a Team Manager, Advanced Practitioner, who holds complex cases and supports 5 or 6 Social Workers and a Newly Qualified Social Worker within their team. We are supporting excellence in Social Work practice, with a signs of safety based approach, and clear personal development opportunities for the right candidates

Hold a small complex caseload 10 - 12 children, provide mentoring/guidance/support to the team,

Provide supervision to the family support worker, run Group supervision sessions and workshops, attend court
