You will play a crucial role in conducting timely assessments, developing support plans, and implementing support in accordance with the Care Act 2014. Strong communications skills will be essential, as you'll be working collaboratively with a wide range of partners, including community groups and the voluntary sector as well as colleagues in health and other sectors.

As a Social Worker joining West Northants Council, youll receive a supportive induction and shadowing period to enable orientation to the service. It is important to us that we ensure we have the right people, with the right skills, doing the right job.

We are committed to career development and offer training and development opportunities for those who want to progress or specialise, for example AMHP training (for those 2 years post-qualified).

Hours:?Our standard hours are 9am-5pm, however there is the option for flexible working, and part time hours are available for some roles so please do ask!

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore subject to an enhanced DBS certificate, at our cost.
