About the Role:As a Social Worker in our Voluntary Adoption Agency (VAA), you will:

  • Recruit, train, and assess prospective adopters.
  • Support adoptive families throughout the adoption process, from assessment to the final hearing.
  • Represent the service professionally at adoption panels and court hearings.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, professionals, and families to achieve the best outcomes for children.

About You:To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • A degree in Social Work and Social Work England registration.
  • At least 2 years of post-qualification experience, ideally with adoption-related work or PAR assessments.
  • A sound understanding of therapeutic parenting, attachment theory, and adoption challenges.
  • A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
