About the Role:As a Social Worker in our Voluntary Adoption Agency (VAA), you will:
- Recruit, train, and assess prospective adopters.
- Support adoptive families throughout the adoption process, from assessment to the final hearing.
- Represent the service professionally at adoption panels and court hearings.
- Collaborate with colleagues, professionals, and families to achieve the best outcomes for children.
About You:To excel in this role, you'll need:
- A degree in Social Work and Social Work England registration.
- At least 2 years of post-qualification experience, ideally with adoption-related work or PAR assessments.
- A sound understanding of therapeutic parenting, attachment theory, and adoption challenges.
- A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
