Software Developer Team lead

Salary: £50k

Location: Northamptonshire/5 Days a week on-site

My client is looking for a Software Developer who is ready to take the next step up to join their growing team in an exciting new role, centred around the love of music! This company prides itself on its relaxing environment and potential for career progression.

Responsibilities:

  • Organise and plan the workload for the software team
  • Line management duties of the team and commitment to efficiency
  • Demonstrate leadership and administration of the sprint process
  • Ensure essential research, company QMS and technical journals and maintained
  • Project planning, problem solving and scoping.
  • Ensure the successful development of scalable firmware and software using a methodical approach.

Skills:

  • Minimum of 5+ years using modern C++/JUCE
  • Git and CI/CD
  • Application Development Architecture and UI Design knowledge
  • Experience in Designing and developing GUI Components
  • Understanding of audio software
  • Proficiency in software engineering fundamentals
  • Managerial experience
  • Proven and effective team management skill
  • Agile/Scrum/Sprint planning methodologies.
  • Impeccable interpersonal and communication skills, capable of maintaining close relationships.
  • Musical instrument experience/ keen interest in music
