This hybrid role allows you to work 2 days onsite, with the flexibility to work remotely for the rest of the week. You'll be contributing to exciting Government projects, gaining hands-on experience and opportunities to learn, develop, and grow.
Key Skills we're looking for:* Understanding and some commercial experience with either Java or Python* Interest in front-end technologies like React, JavaScript, or Angular* Familiarity with version control systems (such as Git) * Eagerness to learn and adopt DevOps practices* Interest in containerization technologies like Docker (a bonus, but not essential!)* A proactive mindset and a passion for continuous learning
Your Responsibilities:* Assist in developing and maintaining web applications, working on both front-end and back-end systems* Help design and implement APIs* Collaborate closely with experienced developers to learn best practices* Write clean, efficient code while getting the support you need to grow* Gain valuable experience working in an Agile environment
Qualifications:* Enthusiasm for software development and a desire to improve your skills* British Citizenship (required to apply for SC Clearance)
