Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop custom WordPress themes from scratch (PHP/HTML/CSS)
  • Customise existing WordPress themes and plugins
  • Troubleshoot and fix WordPress-related issues
  • Optimise WordPress websites for speed, performance, and security
  • Ensure website compliance with industry best practices and accessibility standards
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends and technologies

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 3-4 years as a front end WordPress Developer
  • Strong understanding of WordPress core, themes, and plugins
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Strong understanding of ACF (Advanced Custom Fields)
  • Experience with PHP and MySQL
  • Knowledge of WordPress REST API
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • A passion for creating beautiful and functional websites
  • Able to work from home and have office days
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with version control systems like GIT
  • Knowledge of front-end frameworks
  • Experience with headless WordPress
