Sustainability LeadPermanent Northampton£40k - £50k per annum, depending on experience

Are you passionate about Sustainability? Do you have Logistics Management or Project Management experience? Do you enjoy stakeholder engagement and providing guidance to internal and external parties? If so, our client based in Northampton is looking for a Sustainability Lead to drive their sustainability initiative and champion it across the business.

Your duties as a Sustainability Lead will include but are not limited to:

  • Reviewing and developing the company Sustainability strategy.
  • Training and influencing on Sustainability initiatives across the business.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for customers regarding Sustainability matters, providing guidance on the current landscape.
  • Developing relationships with stakeholders (Internal and External) to increase awareness and engagement of Sustainability.
  • Gathering, checking, and presenting data for reporting internally and externally, including GHG emissions.
  • Producing proactive communications for both internal and external stakeholders giving regular insight into market trends and opportunities.
  • Working in collaboration with suppliers to report on Sustainability performance and track against company and customer targets.
  • Supporting the business with Sustainability dashboards and producing suitable presentations for internal and external use.
  • Producing all project documentation, including project plans scope, impacts of change, meeting minutes, and RAID log management.

To be a successful Sustainability Lead, you must have:

  • Logistics management experience would be advantageous
  • Project management experience.
  • A passion for sustainable and responsible business.
  • An understanding of broad ESG principles and the regulatory and reporting landscape (desirable).
  • The ability to work with complex data and produce useful insights.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge & understanding of effective customer & supplier relationship management principles.
