Your Role:
As an Inclusion Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the holistic well-being of our students. Your compassion, patience, and understanding will make a world of difference in creating an atmosphere where students feel safe, respected, and encouraged to thrive.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting Individual Students: Work closely with students requiring additional assistance, understanding their unique needs, and providing personalized support to help them reach their full potential.
- Promoting Inclusion: Collaborate with teachers and staff to create an inclusive classroom environment that celebrates diversity and encourages participation from all students.
- Mentoring and Counselling: Provide emotional support and guidance to students, fostering their self-confidence and resilience.
- Conflict Resolution: Assist in resolving conflicts between students in a fair and constructive manner, teaching valuable conflict resolution skills.
- Liaising with Parents and Guardians: Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to update them on their child's progress and address any concerns.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in working with young people is advantageous, but we welcome enthusiastic individuals willing to learn and make a difference.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude are essential qualities for this role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
