Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for SEN children.
  • Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment for all pupils.
  • Support class teachers with planning and delivering engaging lessons.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and independence in students.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
  • Be empathetic, patient, and committed to supporting the needs of SEN children.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be proactive, adaptable, and a team player.
  • Hold relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, SEN training) - desirable but not essential.
