I am currently recruiting for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant for a mainstream school based in Northampton. The school prides themselves on developing the students education and ensuring the children meet their targets for learning.As a SEN Learning Assistant you will:-Support the pupils within the classroom, small groups and 1:1.-Be confident to use positive reinforcement techniques and behaviour based instruction-Follow the children's specialised support plans to help them achieve their full potential-Support the teacher within the classroom which may include marking and delivering lessons.The ideal candidate that I am looking for will have:-Relevant qualifications and/or experience-Relative experience plus experience with SEN students-A genuine interest in helping support children with SEN-Proven experience working with primary aged children -A understanding and experience working with the UK curriculum.
