Your new company
Hays Education have recently seen an increased need for local Teaching Assistants in SEN Schools across Northamptonshire for day-to-day and long-term supply.
Here at Hays, we work with a number of schools across Northamptonshire, covering the areas of Northampton, Corby, Kettering, Wellingborough, Rushden, Daventry, Towcester, Brackley and all the in between! This means as a Teaching Assistant working through Hays you will have local work in your local area covering schools that only you want to work in.

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a SEN Secondary School in Wellingborough for young people aged 11-18 with cognition and learning needs/ASD. The school has approximately 150 students and is an OFSTED 'outstanding' school. They are passionate about supporting students to achieve their full potential and provide enrichment opportunities outside of the school setting to support children in preparing for their next steps once they leave school.



Your new role
We are currently recruiting for a full time Teaching Assistant to join the team ASAP on a temporary - permanent basis. We are looking for exceptional people to work with exceptional pupils who have a range of additional needs.

We are seeking people who thrive on working in a challenging but immensely rewarding environment, who are passionate about supporting the development of social, life and independence skills and who truly want to make a difference in the lives of young people.


The appointed person will be expected to make a real and positive impact to the lives of children who have a range of care needs, life experiences and personalities that makes every day varied and interesting. You will be able to successfully build trusting student relationships and motivate and encourage student(s) as required by providing levels of individual attention, reassurance and help with living and learning tasks as appropriate.



What you'll need to succeed
The appointed candidates will have a minimum of 1 years' experience working with children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs or Autism Spectrum Conditions
