A mainstream primary school located in West Northampton is recruiting an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant for a part time role.

The successful candidate will provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs, helping them achieve their academic and personal goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the learning and development of pupils with SEN in both individual and group settings.
Implement strategies and interventions outlined in EHCPs.
Assist the classroom teacher in managing behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Foster positive relationships with students to enhance their confidence and self-esteem.
Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
Monitor and report on student progress and wellbeing.

Requirements:

Relevant qualifications in education or special educational needs support.
Experience working with children with SEN, preferably in a school setting.
Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Commitment to continuous professional development.
