Graduate Technical Sales Engineer

Location: Northampton

Our client is a rapidly expanding technology business which manufactures bespoke digital cameras for scientific space applications.

The successful candidate will play a key support role in the Sales and Marketing team, for a company at the cutting edge of imaging technology for science, industrial and space applications. It is very interesting and challenging work and will see the successful candidate’s work contributing to the development of scientific instruments around the world performing ground-breaking science and supporting high value manufacturing.

Due to the technical nature of the work the role is ideally suited to a technically minded physics or engineering graduate, with the successful candidate making a major contributor to the full 360 lifecycle of a project. The role will include all aspects of system design from initial concept, through to design, build and test.

This is a graduate/entry-level opportunity, as such bespoke training will be provided.

Successful applicant will have:

  • A degree in Physics or Engineering
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, both written and oral
  • Proactive, responsible, confident and customer-oriented
  • Results driven and a self-starter
  • Excellent administrative record-keeping
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to produce accurate and engaging written content
  • Good IT skills and proficient using Microsoft Office
  • UK passport holder
