Our client is are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to join their dynamic team and play a crucial role in driving business growth in the Semiconductor and High Technology Process Equipment sectors across the UK, Ireland, Mainland Europe, and the Nordic States.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing the full sales cycle, and providing technical assistance to customers. With a blend of technical expertise and exceptional communication skills, you will promote high-value equipment, ensure customer satisfaction, and consistently meet sales targets.

This is an exciting opportunity to engage with industry professionals, stay updated on technological advancements, and contribute to the growth of long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities:

Drive new business development from both existing and prospective accounts.

Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure consistent revenue growth.

Promote and sell high-value technical equipment, leveraging the company's reputation to win business from competitors.

Identify and establish new opportunities within the designated regions to expand market share.

Present, demonstrate, and provide technical support to customers throughout the sales process.

Negotiate contracts, manage tender preparation, quotations, and post-sales support.

Manage customer accounts and build lasting business relationships.

Work closely with suppliers globally and attend relevant trade shows, exhibitions, and training forums.

Achieve and exceed sales targets, working autonomously or as part of a team.

To be considered you will need the following:

Proven field-based sales experience in the Semiconductor Scientific Capital Equipment industry.

Experience selling high-value technical products to engineers, managers, and universities, both domestically and internationally.

A degree or higher qualification in Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, or Life Sciences (preferred).

Strong background in engineering or science with a deep understanding of technical equipment.

Familiarity with value selling techniques (desirable).

Proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel, from engineers to senior managers.

Ability to balance revenue growth with improving gross margin.

Excellent IT and CRM skills, with a structured approach to workload planning.

Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
