Job Title: Service Manager (Electrical)
Location: Northampton HQ
Salary: 65,000 - 75,000 + Benefits
My client is seeking a dynamic and professional Electricl Service Manager with a strong existing client base to lead and expand our service department. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality services, managing teams, and driving business growth within the electrical services sector.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage the service department, including service engineers and a team of site engineers.

Oversee the QS electrical tester and ensure test reports are accurate and timely.

Lead and manage the apprenticeship programme, ensuring the growth and development of apprentices.

Recruit to meet service needs and drive company growth.

Review and improve systems, procedures, and H&S management systems.

Survey, design, and quote clients' needs promptly.

Negotiate terms with clients and set up customer accounts.

Handover secured works to the service team to ensure seamless delivery.

Monitor and ensure all works are executed to the highest standard, in line with SEC MEP protocols.

Manage budgets, turnover, and profits to achieve annual targets.

Conduct bi-annual appraisals for the team.

Strategically plan for growth, aiming for a 30% year-on-year increase.

Take accountability for executive decisions and be part of the executive management team.

Demonstrate leadership, goals, and aspirations to progress towards becoming the Service Director.

Obtain necessary accreditations to secure framework and FM work packages.

Update company website and literature to reflect service offerings and achievements.
Requirements:

Proven experience in a service management role within the electrical services industry.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Demonstrated ability to grow client relationships and manage existing accounts.

A keen eye for improving processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and driving profitability.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to survey, design, and quote accurately and efficiently.
