This might be a great opportunity for you!

We have a short-term assignment for one of our clients to support their admin team and cover reception. You will be responsible for meeting and greeting visitors, offering a professional and friendly reception service and supporting with a variety of administrative tasks.

This role will be equally suited to someone in the earlier stages of their career, and candidates with experience, but you will need some experience working in an office environment. Full training will be provided and personality & attitude are just as important for our client. If you are available for an immediate start and looking for a temporary role then please get in touch.

Key duties and responsibilities for the Receptionist:

  • Meeting and greeting visitors
  • Answering and screening & forwarding phone calls
  • General administration duties and supporting with checking, stamping and sending of invoices.
  • Checking statements and supplier accounts
  • Sorting and distributing post, and monitoring office supplies and ordering as required.
  • This is a brief overview and additional duties may be offered depending on your skillset/experience.

Key skills and characteristics required:

  • 6 + months of office/reception experience
  • A friendly and polite personality
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Experience working with IT systems - Google Sheets and/or MS Office (full training is provided).
  • Good capacity to learn and work well within a small team
  • Self-motivation and efficiency

This is a short-term temporary assignment to provide office cover, and will last a minimum of 4 weeks but more likely to be 5 or 6 weeks in total depending on business needs.

Due to the location of the office you must have access to your own transport, and be available to interview & start immediately.
