Health & Safety Consultant 
Home Based - Client Site Visits covering Northampton, Luton, Watford (M1)
£38,000 - £53,000 + Car Allowance 

Are you an experienced Health and Safety professional with consultancy experience or multi sector experience? We have a fantastic opportunity for you working as a Health and Safety Consultant for a well-respected consultancy providing high level professional advice and guidance to their wide-ranging clients.  The role is home based with travel to clients sites across your region. 

The role 

  • Attend various client sites and conduct Health & Safety risk assessments and audits

  • Providing a bespoke Health and Safety documentation and management systems to our clients’ customers

  • Carry out and create specific client risk assessments

  • Create Health & Safety Management reports

  • Identify client requirements through surveying client premises Conduct safety audits

  • Advise, guide and coach all personnel with the implementation of the Company Procedures

  • Ensure needs and expectations are met in accordance with their contracted services Advise on all current occupational H&S and environmental legislation

  • Audits and Inspections of health & safety practices to be carried out across the business.

  • Client training as required to their service and use of their Health and safety management system

Knowledge, Experience and qualifications required:

  • Experience in a consultancy or multi sector experience 

  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent

  • GradIOSH on a definitive IPD programme to achieve CMIOSH status

  • Engaging Health and Safety Professional with excellent people skills and a can-do approach

  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills

  • Adaptable team member
