HGV Technician Job Details
Basic Salary: £47,955pa
Working Hours:
Week 1 - Monday-Thursday - 06:00-15:30 & Friday 06:00-14:30
Week 2 - Monday-Thursday 12:30-22:00 & Friday 12:30-21:00 + Saturday 07:00-12:00
Location: Northampton
A skilled & experienced HGV Mechanic is required for full time permanent vacancy.
For the HGV Mechanic role you will need to have prior HGV Technician experience working within a dealership or fleet maintenance environment.
Responsibilities of an HGV Technician
·Routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards.
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
·Diagnosing of vehicles diagnostic equipment.
·Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed.
Skills and Qualifications of an HGV Mechanic
·Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
·HGV licence is an advantage
