Sonic Summary

The HGV Technician position offers a basic salary of £45,227 plus an annual bonus of £3,000, with an OTE of over £50,000 per annum.
The role is based in Northampton and requires working Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 18:00, with no weekend shifts.
Candidates must have a Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualification, and an HGV license is preferred.
Responsibilities include routine vehicle maintenance, preparing vehicles for MOT inspection, and diagnosing issues using diagnostic equipment.
Additional benefits include overtime at time and a half, 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays, ongoing training, medical insurance, and retail/holiday discounts.

HGV Technician Job Details

Responsibilities of an HGV Technician
·Routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards.
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
·Diagnosing of vehicles diagnostic equipment.
·Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed.

Skills and Qualifications of an HGV Mechanic
·Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
·HGV licence is an advantage
·Hydraulic and/or Pneumatic would be beneficial
