Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Structural Steel Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with structural steel and the ability to interpret technical drawings to fabricate and weld metal components. This role involves fabricating, assembling, and welding large structural elements used in buildings, bridges, and other structures.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality welding on structural steel components, following safety and industry standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
  • Set up welding equipment and select appropriate methods (MIG, TIG, or Stick Welding).
  • Inspect welded surfaces for quality assurance, making adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a structural steel welder.
  • Proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and Stick.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
  • Certification in welding (preferred but not required).
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
