Key Responsibilities:

  • Invoice Processing: Efficiently process high volumes of invoices and ensure accurate matching to purchase orders.
  • Payment Preparation: Prepare payment runs, including BACS and manual payments, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Supplier Reconciliation: Reconcile supplier statements to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Inbox Management: Manage Accounts Payable inboxes, ensuring all communications are handled promptly and professionally.
  • Query Resolution: Handle and resolve invoice queries effectively, maintaining positive relationships with suppliers.
  • VAT Handling: Accurately process VAT on all invoices.
  • Supplier Verification: Verify new supplier data to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of invoice processing and purchase order matching.
  • Experience with BACS and manual payment preparation.
  • Proficient in reconciling supplier statements.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
