Salary: £85 - £95 per day (Depending on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Supervise classes during the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring that students remain on task and complete set work.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive, productive learning environment.
• Provide support to students as needed, offering guidance on their tasks and helping with any queries they may have.
• Liaise with teaching staff to ensure the smooth transition of lesson plans and continuity of learning.
• Monitor and support students' progress, reporting any concerns to appropriate staff.
• Follow the school’s safeguarding and behaviour management policies.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in an educational setting is preferred, but not essential.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Enthusiastic and flexible approach to working with students across different age groups.
• Ability to follow lesson plans and provide support to students as needed.

• Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
