This is an exciting role for a talented educator who wants to inspire young minds and deliver a high-quality curriculum in Health & Social Care, Childcare, and PSHE.
Responsibilities of a Teacher of Health & Social Care:- Deliver engaging and dynamic lessons in Health & Social Care, Childcare, and PSHE to KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5 students.
- Plan and implement a curriculum that supports students’ academic and personal development, building practical knowledge and skills relevant to future careers.
- Inspire and motivate students to explore topics such as health services, child development, and social care, with a focus on real-world application.
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress, ensuring every learner achieves their full potential.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where every student feels encouraged and valued.
- Contribute to the delivery of PSHE topics that promote student wellbeing and personal growth.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience in teaching Health & Social Care or related subjects.
- A genuine passion for Health & Social Care, Childcare, and personal development education.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to bring lessons to life through practical and engaging teaching methods.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or the willingness to apply for one.
