Job Title: Level 3 Nursery Nurse – Reception Class
Location: Northolt, LondonSalary: £14.00 - £15.00 per hour Contract Type: Full-Time, Contract (Temp to perm)Start Date: Feb 2025
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Level 3 Nursery Nurse to join the Reception team at a welcoming primary school in Northolt. The ideal candidate will support the class teacher in delivering high-quality learning experiences for children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), fostering a positive, stimulating environment that encourages growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting children’s learning in a Reception class
- Assisting the class teacher with the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities
- Monitoring and assessing children’s progress, recording observations
- Providing personal care and emotional support for children as needed
- Creating a welcoming and inclusive learning environment
- Building strong, positive relationships with children, staff, and parents
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working in a Reception or Nursery setting
- A strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development
Desirable:
- Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- First Aid and Safeguarding training
