About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Level 3 Nursery Nurse to join the Reception team at a welcoming primary school in Northolt. The ideal candidate will support the class teacher in delivering high-quality learning experiences for children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), fostering a positive, stimulating environment that encourages growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children’s learning in a Reception class
  • Assisting the class teacher with the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities
  • Monitoring and assessing children’s progress, recording observations
  • Providing personal care and emotional support for children as needed
  • Creating a welcoming and inclusive learning environment
  • Building strong, positive relationships with children, staff, and parents

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working in a Reception or Nursery setting 
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development

Desirable:

  • Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • First Aid and Safeguarding training
