Carbon60 are currently looking for a Trainee Coil Operative to join a client of ours based in Greenford. This position is a 12 week temp to perm.
Salary: 13.15/hour
Opportunities for potential overtime (up to 15 hrs per week) paid at time and a half.
Working Hours/Shift Pattern:
07:00 -15:30 Monday to Thursday
07:00 -14:30 Friday
Job Duties:
- Dismantling electric motors using hand tools.
- Taking all windings out using chisel/hammer operation.
- Using abrasives to clean out the parts (includes use of angle grinders)
- Using chemicals to wash motor casing and steam cleaning.
- Using short blaster to clean all motor parts.
- Using crane operations for all activities
- Training provided.
Skills Required:
- Commitment to working to high quality procedures and standards
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Experience with basic hand and power tools
- Experience of working in an engineering environment
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
