Sheridan ward is excited to be recruiting for one of our lovely clients based in Northol, they are looking to bring on board a new Purchasing Administrator!

They are looking for someone who has previous purchasing experience, as well as experience within the construction or building industry (that would be a HUGE bonus!)

The ideal candidate will be experienced working in a fast paced department, juggling a wide range of varied tasks. This role requires a clear and confident communicator as you will be liaising with many internal teams as well as external clients and suppliers.

Purchasing Administrator Duties:

  • Making sure stock levels are logged correctly
  • Managing shipments and tracking orders
  • Liaising with the warehouse and logistics teams
  • Analyzing cost saving areas
  • Issuing quotations and invoices
  • Negotiating prices
  • Putting suppliers price lists on system
  • Liaising with carriers
  • Offering admin support to service manager
